UN SDGs
GreenerAge: Climate-Change and Environmental Literacy for Urban Citizens 55+ project promotes environmental literacy and behaviour change, while also aiming at enhancing digital skills and competence development in the target group (55+ adults) through the development of a digital gamification platform as a playful literacy tool.
At the heart of the GreenerAge platform are the horizontal priorities of environment and fight against climate change and inclusion and diversity while increasing digital skills. It will centre around a set of innovative and user-friendly tools and practices that will transform 55+ adults into real drivers of change by raising awareness, developing competences, skills and improved access for adults 55+ to digital education tools and content that promote a more sustainable lifestyle.
Older adults will learn to lower their carbon footprint, opt for sustainable food and mobility choices, reduce energy use and waste, among others.
